What the quiet hours are actually like
From roughly 10pm the building empties out, and between midnight and 5am you will often have a whole room to yourself. Lights and air conditioning run the same as they do at noon, music stays on, and the cleaning schedule works through the small hours so the place you walk into at 4am is the same one you would walk into at 4pm.
Members who train overnight tend to settle into a rhythm quickly. The car park is empty, there is no queue for anything, and the sessions get shorter because none of the time goes on waiting.
Getting set up for out-of-hours access
Access is enabled on your account when you join on Silver or Gold, and it is live as soon as your induction is done. The app carries your entry credentials, so there is no fob to lose. If entry ever fails, reception sorts it the same day.
Safety and monitoring
The building is covered by CCTV and monitored around the clock, and there are emergency call points on both floors. Staff review the overnight footage, and anyone found propping a door or letting non-members in loses access, which is what keeps the system workable for everybody else.
