Angles you cannot get with a barbell

A well-chosen machine is not a lesser version of a free weight. It is a way of loading a muscle through a path that a barbell cannot follow, at an angle your joints will actually tolerate at the end of a session.

The selection here is deliberate. Hammer Strength for the rows and presses, Nautilus Nitro for the isolation, Arsenal Strength for the fly and lateral raise, Rogers Athletic for the pendulum squat, Megamass for the heavy plate-loaded work.

New pieces land most months. The Megamass back range went in through 2026 and immediately became the most talked-about equipment in the building.

The leg room

A whole room
for leg day

Every leg machine in the building lives in one room, next to the functional floor, so a leg session does not mean walking between buildings.
