The changing rooms at BoxCross were rebuilt in 2026 and are not an afterthought: concrete-effect walls, black basins, backlit mirrors, private cubicles and showers, in a gym in Wisbech where most places still hand you a bench and a hook.
Somewhere you do not mind getting ready
Changing rooms tell you what a gym thinks of its members. These were rebuilt from scratch in 2026, and the brief was simple: a hotel standard, in black and concrete, that still works at six in the morning with wet floors and forty people.
Private cubicles, proper showers, backlit mirrors at the basins and enough room that nobody is dressing on top of anybody else. Ladies and gents, both to the same spec.
They open with the gym, so on Silver and Gold that means round the clock.

Private cubicles rather than an open room, and showers to match. Bring your own towel; soap is at the basins.
Basins and mirrors
Matte black basins, backlit mirrors above them, and full-length mirrors by the doors.
Accessible facilities
An accessible toilet on the ground floor, and step-free access to the main floor from the car park.
Kept clean
Cleaned through the day. If something is not right, tell reception and it gets sorted.
